Friso Heybroek was sworn in as a lawyer in 2006. Before that, he was a junior civil-law notary for a number of years. His specialisation is corporate law, in particular company law and directors’ and officers’ liability.
Friso has extensive experience in advising and litigating on takeover transactions, relaunching companies, shareholder agreements, setting up joint ventures, shareholder disputes and inquiry proceedings before the Enterprise Chamber.
Friso also regularly assists entrepreneurs who are confronted with the threat of bankruptcy and directors’ liability.
He also advises and litigates on contract law. He is often involved in drafting (commercial) contracts and general terms and conditions. Friso litigates on matters such as: compliance, breach of contract, dissolution and damages.
